Privacy Policy.

This policy explains what Comunix collects on comunix.us, why, who we share it with, and how to ask us to delete it. Last updated September 17, 2026.

Who we are

Comunix is a marketing agency serving local businesses in Massachusetts, United States. We run advertising campaigns and produce photo and video content for our clients. This policy covers the website comunix.us. It does not cover our clients' own websites or our internal client dashboard, which is only reachable by our team.

For anything in this policy, including deletion requests, write to contact@comunix.us.

What you give us

When you submit the call request form, we collect:

  • your name and your business name;
  • your phone number, which the form requires so we can call you;
  • your email address, which is optional;
  • the time window you picked for the call;
  • the services you ticked and anything you typed in the message field.

We only ask for what we need to call you back and prepare for that call. Please do not send us sensitive information such as government IDs, health information or payment details through this form.

What we collect automatically

  • your IP address and browser user agent, which come with every request to any website;
  • which pages of comunix.us you viewed;
  • cookies set by the Meta Pixel (_fbp and, if you arrived from a Facebook or Instagram ad, _fbc), which identify the browser session for advertising measurement;
  • one cookie of ours after you submit the form, which only tells the thank-you page that a submission just happened, and one internal cookie used by our team to test the site without generating advertising data.

We do not use this site to build profiles about you beyond measuring our own advertising.

Why we use it

  • to call, text or email you about the request you sent us;
  • to prepare the plan we discuss on that call;
  • to measure which ads bring real inquiries, so we do not waste budget;
  • to keep the site working and protect it from abuse and spam.

By submitting the form you agree that Comunix may call or text you at the number you gave us about your request. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or tell us on the phone or by email to stop contacting you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with services that run this business:

  • Meta Platforms — we send advertising events (page views and form submissions) from your browser and from our server. For form submissions this includes your email, phone number and name in hashed form, which means they are converted into an irreversible string before leaving our server so Meta can match the conversion without receiving the values themselves. Meta's handling is covered by its own privacy policy.
  • DigitalOcean — the hosting provider where this site and our database run, in the United States.
  • Anyone we are legally required to share it with, such as in response to a valid legal request.

How long we keep it

We keep the details you send in our client system for as long as we may reasonably do business together, and delete them when you ask us to. Server logs and backups are kept for a short period for security and recovery, and roll off automatically.

Your choices

  • Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to contact@comunix.us. We answer within 30 days.
  • Ask us to stop calling, texting or emailing you, and we stop.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
  • Control how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook ad preferences.

If you live in a state with its own privacy law, such as California, you keep the rights that law gives you, including the right to know, delete and not be discriminated against for exercising them.

Children

This site is meant for business owners. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
